Part of plant used for making oil: Fresh or partially dried leaves 
Properties: Analgesic, Antineuralgic, Antirheumatic, Antiseptic, Antispasmodic, Antiviral, Balsamic, Cicatrizant, Decongestive, Diuretic, Expectorant, Febrifuge, Hypoglycaemic, Parasiticide, Prophylactic, Rubefacient, Stimulant, Vermifuge, Vulnerary     
Precautions: Externally non-toxic, non-irritant (in dilution), non-sensitizing. However, when taken internally it is reported that as little as 3.5 ml may be fatal. Use up to two drops only in a bath.
